1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lurq ("the Service") at trylurq.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

Lurq is an AI-powered market intelligence tool that monitors publicly available discussions on platforms including Reddit and Hacker News, surfaces signals relevant to a user's product or niche, identifies competitor mentions, suggests communities, and provides search queries and sales intelligence — based on the product description provided at signup.

Lurq does not guarantee any specific results, leads, sales, conversions, or business outcomes from use of the Service. Statistics referenced in our marketing materials (such as number of posts monitored or platform scale) are estimates based on publicly available data and are provided for illustrative purposes only — they are not representations or warranties about the volume or quality of results any individual user will receive.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and all activity under your account. Accounts are non-transferable and for individual or organizational use only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Subscription and Payment

Lurq offers paid subscription plans billed monthly in USD via Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Prices are displayed at checkout and are subject to change with reasonable notice to subscribers.

5. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not issue partial refunds for unused time within a billing period.

6. AI Limitations and Accuracy Disclaimer

Lurq uses artificial intelligence to scan public content and surface signals, competitor mentions, community suggestions, and search queries. The AI may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or irrelevant results. Signal scores, gap analysis, competitor detection, and community suggestions are estimates based on automated processing — not guarantees of accuracy or relevance.

The quality of results is directly affected by the product description provided at signup. Users are solely responsible for verifying any information before acting on it. You agree that you will not rely solely on Lurq's output when making any business, operational, financial, or sales decision, and that any such reliance is at your own risk.

Competitor monitoring surfaces mentions only when competitors are actively discussed on monitored platforms during the scan period. Zero results indicates no mentions were found — not a malfunction of the Service. We make no guarantee that any specific competitor will be mentioned.

7. No Professional Advice

Lurq does not provide business strategy, legal, financial, investment, or professional advice of any kind. Nothing generated by the Service — including signals, competitor analysis, community suggestions, or AI-drafted content — constitutes professional advice. All output should be independently reviewed by you and, where appropriate, by qualified professionals before you act on it. We are not liable for any loss, cost, or harm arising from decisions made based on content generated by the Service.

8. Third-Party Services Disclaimer

Lurq monitors publicly available content on third-party platforms including Reddit and Hacker News. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or responsible for any of these platforms. Changes to their APIs, content policies, or availability may affect Lurq's functionality. We are not liable for any interruptions, data gaps, or feature limitations resulting from third-party platform changes.

9. User Obligations

You agree to use Lurq only for lawful purposes. You must not:

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR PRODUCE ANY SPECIFIC BUSINESS RESULTS.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LURQ, ITS OPERATORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lurq and its operators from any claim, damage, loss, or expense (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms or are using the Service in a manner harmful to us or others. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease and your data may be deleted.

14. Intellectual Property

All content, code, branding, and functionality of the Service is the property of Lurq's operator. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose only. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or redistribute any part of the Service.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction. The parties waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits to the extent permitted by law.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
